Being water is a space that explores the paradoxes of awareness, resilience, and selflessness with the intention of creating and sustaining a more fulfilling lifestyle. Striking the proper balance between these paradoxes have been proven beneficial in my own experience as well as my students’ lives. This website is intended to share these ideas and practices with a vast population as well as gather more propositions in these areas. 

The puzzle put by the three domains above are here associated with the qualities of water:

  • Awareness: adaptation without losing the core essence. Water remains water in spite of metamorphosing in accordance with the environment temperature, container shape, etc. 

  • Resilience: soft persistency for actualizing the highest potentiality. Water gains strength when circumventing hard obstacles like rocks which slowly are rounded and smooth by the soft endurance of the water.

  • Selflessness: transcending separateness bridging towards interrelatedness. Water, through rivers and oceans, connect land masses which are apparently disconnected. 
The key premise is that the study and application of above concepts and methodologies contributes to the engagement in activities for which one is best suited, the development of a behavior which is consistent with one's true potential leading to a more fulfilling lifestyle (eudemonia). Said in another manner, could the fluidity, the soft strength and the expanding nature of the water cause it to be the source of life and the spectrum of colors in a rainbow? I’ll be inclined to answer ‘yes’. 

The content above is presented in the format of short articles and yoga classes. In both settings, I intended to provide the reader/practitioner with down to earth concise dialectic practical advice.
